I think that man in his natural state is good but yet chooses to be evil. From a religous stand point every man has God (good) in his heart but chooses to be evil.
I believe man is naturally good but sometimes evil overcomes the good in you.It's what you do to overcome this evil and what you do with the good in you that makes you who you are.
I can't really answer this question, because where does and how would man exist in a 'natural' state? What is considered natural? We are taught what to believe is good or evil, we learn to be greedy or selfless (among other things, of course), from our societies. If there was no society to learn these values (or lack of values) from, then there would be no opportunity for the person to exhibit behavior that is either 'good' or 'evil'. There would be no person to be cruel to, or to be kind to.
I think that a man in his natural state is some what like an animals. And an animals nature is self preservation. A man may choose to be good but is going to do what he needs to do please himself or get out of harms way at the expense of others. And a man may also hold in the restrictions until need be.
Every man is born with a conscious that tells us what is good and what is evil. Since the beginning of time, man has had the power to tell good from evil. Therefore, I would say that men are naturally good, because, by sense of right from wrong, most choose to do the right thing. Evil men are not born evil, but become evil by means of chasing their desires in the wrong manner.
I do believe that people are born good, but there is something in each one of us that makes us different. There is something that makes people evil and something that makes them good. To some its their parents; to some its how they were treated, and to others its just something that happens.
I believe that government is needed to provide us with guidelines to live by. Whether or not people choose to live within those guidelines determines whether they are good or evil. For the most part, people are good, but they struggle with the amount of temptation that is out there and variety of loopholes that are created through the creation of the guidelines of government. So is it people or the government that is evil?
I believe that man in his natural state is good. But at some point can turn evil. But its how you overcome the evil that shows how strong of a person you are.
Every man has a certain sense of what is right and what is wrong. By nature I would like to believe that every man is naturally good but in reality I think that without concentration and self control man would be inevitably evil. Being evil is easy because every choice made can be selfish and self satisfying. It takes hard work and instilled morales to do what is right all the time.
I believe that man is neither good nor evil. Man is put on this earth and is charged to make his own destiny. There is not a higher power that determines mans destiny, man himself is incharge of how he shapes his earth.

A businessman who doesn't care about nature is not evil, because he might also be involved in charities and helping the needy. While a person who loves nature might not be a good person, because he the methods he might go about: riots, destroying property, or making a bomb threat to get attention from people for his cause. I believe that it is us and no one else who defines whether we are good or evil.

Man is by definition suppose to be good. but as you and i know it doesn't always work out that way. i believe that everyone has evil in them. its weather there good over comes there evil for viseversa.

Man by nature is neutral, but is prone to be bad. You're taught to be a good little boy and follow rules, but everyone is tempted, and everyone falls into those temptations at least once or twice. No one's perfectly good. So a government is needed, because without rules and regulations, we'd all be tempted to do whatever we want.

Naturally, without any sort of influences, man would do what it takes to survive, whether it be good or evil, and to say whether it is good or evil can only be decided by somebody that knows the difference between the two. Generally,I would say man is evil because people tend to give in and fall victim of temptation, but on the other hand there are those who stay strong enough.
I think that every being has a choice of his actions in life. Whether you were surrounded by a positive or negative influence growing up I think can determine a persons attitude later on in life.
man isn't born into a perfect world, but i believe he/she can discern the difference between right and wrong. it depends on lifestyle and how he/she is brought up.

Yes, govenment is needed. It can make you be who you are.

The bible says that man is BORN into sin. Therefore man is naturally bad. It is with time and discipline that you gain your good.
